Second Raised Bed

Framed up the second raised bed. It's 1' tall, 2' wide, and 8 ' long, like the first one, framed in rough hemlock purchased at Woddel and Daughters Sawmill (which is just the one extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant daughter at this point). Filled it about 8" deep with the beginning-to-rot straw bales used unsuccessfully as straw-bale-garden last year (the bales were compressed too tightly). Will leave until tomorrow filling it the rest of the way with a lovely mix of compost and loam delivered by my grass-fed beef farmer.
