Fuel Trees, Hedgerow, Coppicing, Masonry Stoves

Thoughtful article on the permaculture approach to firewood, including the top 10 fuel producing trees. The winner is .... osage orange, which also makes a hedgerow that will hold a bull (really?), and coppices, and has those fun fruits. He urges masonry stoves (and shows a nice diagram and pic). An even better stove, a DIY version, would be a rocket stove.
