Yahoo has posted a website demonstrating the benefits of changing out incandescent bulbs for fluorescents. Put in your zip code, find out how many bulbs have been bought there, and how much that has saved in dollars, pounds of coal saved, and carbon not emitted. (Even if yahoo can't actually know how many CFL we'be purchased, the visual is great.)
