The League of Conservation Voters brings us this project to make global warming a Presidential priority:
The largest obstacle to bold action on global warming is strong presidential leadership. The Heat Is On will use the 2008 presidential primaries to generate a vigorous national debate on global warming and challenge all the candidates to make the issue a top priority.
The Heat Is On is a project of the League of Conservation Voters Education Fund. In partnership with LCV and the State Leagues in each of the early voting states--Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Nevada--we will undertake an extensive effort to educate and engage caucus goers and primary voters.
