This is a ning (anyone can feel free to tell me what a ning is) on the Transition Town movement in the US. Thank the goddesses and Rob (be still by beating heart) Hopkins that it has reached our shores!!
(Ok, fine, I looked "ning" up in Wikipedia. It's "an online platform for people to create their own social networks," (as if that tells me anything) and is the Chinese word for "peace.")
